You are invited you to say goodbye to Joan at 2pm on 18th December at St John's Chapel, The Oxford Crematorium, Bayswater Road, Headington, Oxford.

Her own instructions for her funeral were: “No fuss, but have a jolly good party and a drink at my expense”.

So after the ceremony, there will be a celebration of her long and rich life at the Victoria Arms, Mill Lane, Oxford.

If you want to see Joan before the ceremony, there will be viewing from 11am onwards at Boswell's Funeral Directors, 364 Banbury Road, Oxford OX2 7PP

There is no obligation to wear black or dress formally; please come looking as Joan would have remembered you.

The funeral will be live-streamed, and a recording will be available for 28 days after the ceremony. Here are the details:
